如果你不想透露自己的行蹤，你可以說：

Out of town是一個常用的expression，同廣東話“出左城”一樣。

如果你放假去左玩，你可以話
I was on vacation in India.
我去了印度渡假。
大家要注意，vacation是指幾天以上的假期，on vacation是指你不在家出去外遊。
如果你週末在家休息一天，就算不上是Vacation了。你可以說
I had a relaxing weekend at home.
